For this task, select six additional peer-reviewed journal articles that focus on two of the theorists you read about this week. This may include Pavlov, Thorndike, Watson, Guthrie, Skinner, Vygotsky, or Piaget. You will apply what you learned regarding these theorists into an essay that compares and contrasts the two theorists. Locate and read at least six peer-reviewed articles regarding two theorists of your choice. Three articles will be read regarding one theorist, and three articles will be read regarding the other theorist. Apply what you have learned from your research, and then write an essay that compares and contrasts the theories. Consider what each theorist believed, and how that theory fits into the classroom. Analyze how each of these theories could support differentiated PK-12 instructional practices. Discuss how these theories have shaped the way teachers teach. Demonstrate comprehension, application, analysis, assessment, and integration of the research you find on the theorists you choose. State how the theories are similar and how they differ. State how these theories would be applied to educational practice.
